The Boston Women’s Venture Capital Summit, Boston, MA (April 7, 2015)
About the Conference: The purpose of the event, created by local venture investor and former stock broker Sheryl Marshall in partnership with Babson College, is to highlight several women-led startups, give them a chance to introduce their businesses to investors, and increase awareness of the current venture-funding gap that exists for women-led businesses. Join us on April 7, 2015 at District Hall, 75 Northern Avenue, Boston, MA for this event: “Connecting Women to Capital” – a Day of Women Pitching, Speakers, Workshops and Fun!
About Empiriko Presentation: Empiriko’s CEO and Founder, Pam Randhawa, will speak about her journey as a serial entrepreneur. The title of Pam’s speech, “From the Tables of Las Vegas to Synthetic Livers,” is based on the important lessons she learned during her first venture as a card-counter and investor as a member of the MIT Blackjack Team. Subsequent startups have focused on her in-depth experience in healthcare and life sciences, including her recent founding of Empiriko Corporation, which provides innovative synthetic liver technology.
